One Stop Voting is open Today, Saturday April 26th, from 7am to 7pm

A state of Emergency has been issued for Beaufort County due to tornadoes that occurred last night. Even though a state of emergency exists for some parts of the County, the Beaufort County Board of Elections is operating today from 7am to 7pm for the purposes of one stop voting as stated in our One Stop Plan.

Our thoughts go out ot those who suffered any damage from last nights tornados.

One Stop Voting Begins Thursday, April 24th, 2014 for the May 6th, 2014 Primary Elections. One Stop hours are as follows:

Board of Elections Office Hours are Mon – Sat April 24th – May 2rd, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm,  and Sat. May 3th 8 am to 1:00 pm.

 

Satellite Sites are open only on Tuesday April 29th and operate from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Aurora, Belhaven and Chocowinity.

UOCAVA Election Notice for the May 6th, 2014 Election in Beaufort County, NC is now available

The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act or “UOCAVA” requires states to allow certain voters who are absent from their county of residence to have special rights that provide an expedited means for them to register and vote by mail-in absentee ballot.
